Main Animals You May Encounter:
- Asian Elephants (Elephas maximus): Kaudulla is famed for large herds of elephants, particularly visible during the dry season from August to October, when they congregate around the Kaudulla Tank.
- Spotted Deer (Axis axis): Commonly seen grazing in the park’s grasslands.
- Birdlife: Kaudulla is a birdwatcher’s paradise, hosting species such as peacocks, pelicans, eagles, and hornbills.
